Application Fee Details

There is NO APPLICATION FEE required for this recruitment. This is a walk-in interview process, and candidates can directly attend the interview without paying any charges. Tezpur University does not charge any fee for recruitment processes, and candidates should be aware of fraudulent websites or individuals claiming to charge fees for application or selection.

Travelling and Daily Allowance:

Candidates attending the walk-in interview will NOT be entitled to any Travelling Allowance (TA) or Daily Allowance (DA) for appearing in the interview. All travel and accommodation expenses must be borne by the candidates themselves. The university will not reimburse any expenses incurred by candidates for attending the walk-in interview.

Age Limit Criteria

The maximum age limit for applying to this position is 28 years as on the date of the walk-in interview, i.e., 28th January 2026. This means candidates born on or after 28th January 1998 are eligible to apply for this position.

Age Relaxation as per Government of India Norms:

Age Calculation Method:

Age will be calculated as on the date of walk-in interview. Candidates must carry valid proof of date of birth (10th/12th mark sheet or birth certificate). Age relaxation certificates (caste certificate, disability certificate, etc.) must be issued by competent authority and should be produced in original during the interview.

Educational Qualification Requirements

Minimum Essential Qualifications (Any One):

• Option 1: Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) or Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) degree in Electronics & Communication Engineering (ECE) from a recognized university or institution
• Option 2: Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) or Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) degree in Electrical Engineering from a recognized university or institution
• Option 3: Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) or Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) degree in Instrumentation Engineering from a recognized university or institution
• Option 4: Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) or Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) degree in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized university or institution
• Option 5: Master of Science (M.Sc) degree in Physics with specialization in Electronics from a recognized university
• Option 6: Master of Science (M.Sc) degree in Electronics from a recognized university

Important Notes on Qualifications:

• All degrees must be from AICTE-approved institutions or UGC-recognized universities
• Candidates appearing in final semester/year examinations are NOT eligible to apply
• Result must be declared and degree certificate should be available at the time of interview
• Candidates with distance education degrees from UGC-approved institutions may also apply
• Equivalent qualifications recognized by AICTE/UGC will be considered

Desirable Qualifications and Skills:

• Previous experience in research projects or industrial training in relevant fields
• Hands-on experience with electronic measurement instruments and testing equipment
• Knowledge of programming languages like MATLAB, Python, or C/C++
• Familiarity with simulation software like ANSYS, COMSOL, or similar tools
• Good understanding of circuit design, PCB fabrication, and testing procedures
• Experience in data acquisition systems and sensor technologies
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Excellent documentation and report writing skills
• Ability to work independently as well as in team environment
