Position Details and Responsibilities

The Research Associate positions are crucial for advancing agricultural research in groundnut and pulses cultivation. Selected candidates will work under the guidance of the Principal Scientist (Plant Breeding) and the Head of RARS, Tirupati. The primary responsibilities include assisting in field trials, collecting and analyzing research data, maintaining experimental plots, documenting research findings, and contributing to the development of improved crop varieties with enhanced yield potential and disease resistance.

Salary and Benefits

ANGRAU offers competitive consolidated remuneration based on the candidate's qualifications. Post Graduate degree holders (M.Sc) with NET qualification will receive Rs. 61,000 per month plus House Rent Allowance (HRA) on a consolidated basis. Candidates holding Ph.D. degrees will receive an enhanced consolidated salary of Rs. 67,000 per month plus HRA. Contract Duration and Employment Terms

The appointment is purely contractual and temporary in nature, with an initial contract period of 11 months from the date of joining.
