The recruited Medical Officers will be posted at various AYUSH dispensaries, Community Health Centres (CHCs), Primary Health Centres (PHCs), and District Hospitals across Tripura state. They will be responsible for providing outpatient and inpatient medical services based on Ayurvedic or Homoeopathic systems of medicine, diagnosing and treating patients, prescribing medicines, maintaining medical records, participating in health camps and awareness programs, ensuring rational use of AYUSH medicines, coordinating with allopathic doctors in integrated healthcare settings, and implementing government health schemes and programs. Candidates must possess Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (BAMS) degree or Bachelor of Homoeopathic Medicine and Surgery (BHMS) degree from institutions recognized by the Central Council of Indian Medicine (CCIM) or Central Council of Homoeopathy (CCH) respectively. Completion of one-year compulsory internship after passing the final BAMS/BHMS examination is mandatory.
