Position Overview

Key Responsibilities

The Director (Commercial) will be entrusted with comprehensive responsibilities encompassing strategic planning for commercial operations, market analysis and business intelligence gathering, development and implementation of marketing strategies, establishing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, overseeing contract negotiations and agreements, monitoring competitive landscape and industry trends, ensuring revenue optimization and profitability targets, and leading the commercial department team toward organizational objectives.

Eligibility Requirements

Candidates must possess either an Engineering degree from a recognized university or institution with a good academic record, or a Graduate degree with MBA/PGDM specialization in Marketing from a recognized university or institution. The educational qualifications must be supplemented with substantial professional experience demonstrating progressive career growth and leadership capabilities.

Experience Criteria

Applicants should have accumulated cumulative experience or exposure of minimum 5 years during the last 10 years specifically in Marketing, Business Development, Sales Forecasting and Planning, or Material Management functions in large organizations of repute. Preference will be accorded to candidates who have worked in the Minerals or Metals sector, demonstrating specialized industry knowledge and relevant functional expertise.

Remuneration Package

The position offers an attractive pay scale ranging from Rs. 1,80,000 to Rs. 3,40,000 per month on IDA (Industrial Dearness Allowance) pattern. The total Cost to Company includes basic pay, dearness allowance, house rent allowance, and other perquisites as per NMDC rules. Additionally, the position comes with benefits such as official accommodation or HRA, medical facilities, company vehicle or transport allowance, leave travel concession, and performance-linked incentives.
