Candidates must possess either a Post-graduate degree in Basic or Applied Sciences (M.Sc. in Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics, Environmental Science, etc.) from a recognized university with training or certification in Science Communication, Science Journalism, or related fields. Alternatively, candidates with a Post-graduate degree in Science Communication, Multimedia, Mass Communication, Journalism, Film Making, or related disciplines are eligible. Beyond formal qualifications, candidates must demonstrate proven skills in multimedia content creation including video production and editing using professional software (Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve), graphic design and animation using tools like Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, After Effects, or Blender, science writing with ability to explain complex concepts in simple language, photography and videography with understanding of composition and lighting, and proficiency in social media management and digital marketing for science outreach.
